About the project

We’re currently hiring a Tax and Legal Intern for Gegidze, our parent company and one of Georgia’s leading consultancies focused on international tax optimization, residency planning, and global business setup. As demand for their expertise continues to grow, you’ll be joining a fast-scaling Tax & Legal team dedicated to helping international clients achieve regulatory compliance and financial efficiency through smart, tailored solutions.

In this role, you’ll support clients with tax residency, business setup, and residency services, working closely with senior legal and tax specialists. You’ll assist with consultations, documentation, and client communication, gaining hands-on experience in an international consulting environment. Perfect for a law student or recent graduate eager to grow in a fast-paced, client-facing role at the intersection of legal services and global entrepreneurship.

Your duties

As a Tax and Legal Intern, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing documentation for applications, including tax residency certificates, residence permits, and individual entrepreneur registration.
- Drafting contracts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents under supervision.
- Coordinating with banks, notaries, and the Revenue Service to facilitate processes such as bank account opening and asset verification.
- Conducting regular follow-up calls or email updates to keep clients informed on progress.
- Presenting service options clearly and ensuring clients understand the benefits and requirements.
- Maintaining accurate client records in the CRM system and tracking application progress with relevant authorities.
- Participating in training sessions led by the Account Manager to master Georgian tax law, service workflows, and client communication.
- Staying updated on Georgian tax and residency regulations to ensure accuracy in service delivery.
- Seeking ongoing feedback to improve performance and contributing ideas for process improvement.

Requirements

- Holding or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Law (required); specialization in Tax, International, or Business Law (preferred).
- Recent graduates or students graduating by June 2025 are encouraged to apply.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM tools, MS Office, and cloud platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Office 365, Teams).
- English language Upper intermediate (B2) is a must.

Nice to have:

- Internship or academic project experience in legal/tax fields.
- Familiarity with Georgian tax, residency, or business setup processes.
