About the project

We are looking for a curious, creative, and experienced Motion Designer to collaborate on digital campaigns for our key clients. The role focuses on producing high-quality display banners, motion graphics for social media and websites, and designing campaign landing pages. You will work closely with Project Managers to bring client campaigns to life, combining motion/animation skills with web design knowledge. This is a long-term freelance opportunity with flexible hours, contributing to visually engaging campaigns for clients across various industries.

Your duties

As a Motion Designer, you will be responsible for:

- Collaborating with our local Production Team on creating Display Banners (Sitebars, Medium Rectangles, etc.) and motion graphics for social media and websites.
- Designing websites and campaign landing pages, with a focus on motion/animation work (~65%) and web design (~35%).
- Ensuring that animations and interactive banners function correctly, including basic HTML5/CSS/JS coding as needed (AI-assisted coding is acceptable if banners work as intended).
- Maintaining organized project files, following project management guidelines, and delivering high-quality creative assets.
- Working closely with Project Managers within the team via Slack and task management tools; no direct client contact.

Requirements

- 4–6 years of professional experience in motion graphics, web design, or digital campaign production. Candidates with strong portfolios are welcome even with slightly less experience.
- Deep understanding of Display Campaigns (IAB, Google specs, clicktags, etc.), UI/UX principles, and how website structure/design affects marketing campaigns.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Animate, After Effects) and basic web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with Figma is a plus.
- Strong communication skills within a team; comfortable collaborating under the guidance of a Project Manager.
- A very good command of English is mandatory.
- Self-starter with initiative, able to work independently and maintain high-quality output.
- Flexible, positive, and adaptable to changing priorities.

Nice to have:

- Previous experience working with agencies or cross-functional creative teams.
- Familiarity with ERP, HRMS, Sales, ATS, CRM, or similar tools.
- Experience in long-term freelance collaboration.
- Availability Monday–Thursday between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm CET preferred, with flexibility depending on project needs.
- Knowledge of the German language is a plus.
