About the project
Currently, we are looking for an Outbound Sales Account Executive to join a company dedicated to bringing education and training to the floral industry. Since 1997, the company has served over 7,000 customers by offering a variety of live and recorded workshops covering sales, service, and design. Based in both Amsterdam and New York, the company primarily operates in the North American market, providing unbiased, expert guidance to florists without affiliations to wire services or vendors. The company combines hands-on retail experience, marketing expertise, and a passion for customer service to help florists improve customer experiences, increase sales, and grow their businesses through both on-site and remote training programs.
We are looking for an Outbound Sales Account Executive who will make outbound calls to 6,000 flower shops to qualify them for a new program. Using a simple script, the role involves gauging interest, setting appointments, and potentially closing sales, with commissions available for successful conversions. The position requires working directly with the sales team to engage existing customers and warm leads, utilizing the CRM to track interactions and progress.
Your duties
As an Outbound Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Making outbound calls to existing customers and warm leads to introduce and explain the new program.
- Qualifying leads, gauging interest, and attempting to set appointments or close sales.
- Using the CRM to track all interactions, update lead status, and maintain accurate records.
- Following a simple sales script while adapting communication to each customer’s needs.
- Collaborating with the owner and sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and coordinated follow-ups.
- Meeting target call and conversion numbers to achieve sales goals and commission opportunities.
- Performing related administrative tasks, including logging call outcomes and scheduling follow-up activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in outbound or B2B calling.
- Strong communication skills and comfort using CRM and other software tools.
- Ability to follow a script while adapting messaging to each client’s needs.
- Experience qualifying leads, gauging interest, and setting appointments or closing sales.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a high volume of calls.
- Comfortable working independently on a small team or solo project.
- Ability to track interactions and update CRM records accurately and promptly.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude with motivation to meet and exceed targets.
- English language Upper Intermediate (B2) is a must.
