About the project
Currently, we are looking for a Real Estate Investment Associate for our key client, a real estate investment and development firm based in Miami, with active projects in Florida and New York City. Their culture is strategic, data-driven, and entrepreneurial, with a focus on solving complex real estate challenges through deep market insight and thoughtful capital structuring. The team works closely with top-tier partners to deliver high-impact multifamily and hospitality projects, offering the right candidate hands-on experience across the full investment lifecycle.
We are looking for a Real Estate Investment Associate to support end-to-end investment activities, collaborate with senior leadership, and contribute to key development decisions. This role offers broad exposure to acquisitions, capital markets, and real estate development, making it ideal for a growth-oriented professional eager to make a direct impact in an agile and experienced team.
Your duties
As a Real Estate Investment Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining Excel and ARGUS models for underwriting new investments, primarily in multifamily and hospitality projects.
- Conducting due diligence reviews including title, zoning, financials, and third-party reports.
- Supporting market research, pipeline management, and competitive analysis to inform acquisition strategy.
- Assisting in negotiations, structuring, and documentation for active deals, with potential involvement in sourcing depending on seniority.
- Participating in and summarizing findings from site visits and property tours.
- Supporting asset management post-acquisition, including investor reporting and operational reviews.
- Drafting investment memos and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with a small team of 2, contributing across the full investment lifecycle.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, private equity, or investment banking.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel financial modeling and hands-on experience with ARGUS is a must.
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, including underwriting, due diligence, and financing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with U.S. urban markets, with a preference for experience in Florida and NYC.
- English language Upper intermediate (B2) is a must.
Nice to have:
- MBA preferred but not required.
